Online fraud is defined as any type of fraudulent activity that occurs online. Fraudulent activities can include, but are not limited to, identity theft, phishing attacks, and spamming. There are a number of ways you can protect yourself from online fraud.
1. Use a strong password: To avoid online scam take advice, Make sure your password is at least eight characters long and includes both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Also make sure to change your password often.

2. Don't open unsolicited emails: avoid opening unsolicited emails that seem suspicious or want you to provide personal information such as your bank account number or Social Security number. These emails could be part of a scam designed to steal your money or identity.
3. Be aware of phishing attacks: Phishing attacks involve fake email messages that look like they come from a legitimate source such as your bank or the website you're trying to visit. The goal of a phishing attack is to trick you into revealing confidential information such as your account numbers or passwords.
Be especially wary if someone unexpectedly sends you an email asking for your help with something important like signing up for new services or transferring money between accounts. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
4. Don't click on links in unsolicited emails: If an email asks you to click on a link in the email, don't do it. Instead, save the email attachment or copy the URL into a search engine to see if it's safe to visit.
